GEM® Low-Speed Vehicles Now Available

A Low-Speed Vehicle is a street-legal, four-wheeled, electric vehicle with a top speed of 25 mph and a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 3,000 lb. Most states allow LSVs to drive on roads marked 35 mph or less. The Polaris GEM® is a great LSV option and comes in three models. The GEM® E2 seats two people and offers the most nimble performance with its tight turning radius and small footprint. The GEM® E4 seats 4 people and combines its superior comfort and security features to be the optimal on-road transportation vehicle. The GEM® E6 seats six people and is perfect for moving people to the beach, across town, and around the local community. The fully electric GEM® models feature forward-facing high back fully adjustable seats, 3 point safety belts, and plenty of legroom. With an average operating cost of $0.03 per mile the GEM® is significantly more cost effective compared to vehicles like trucks or vans. Each GEM® can be highly customized with options ranging from power steering, solar panels, and full doors to upgraded seats, wheels, and storage options. With its 43" of available legroom and spacious cab, GEM® is designed to comfortably seat a person who is 6'8" and with 6" of suspension travel, it can handle all kinds of terrain. GEM® offers an array of battery options that vary by range, cost, and level of maintenance.
